Overview

Ongoing content creation and creative direction for Flamingo Finance, a DeFi platform on the Neo blockchain. I produce platform tutorials, high-energy promotional campaigns, and programmatically generated videos driven by on-chain data. This includes 3D abstract animations in Cinema 4D, AI-assisted visuals, and on-camera explainer content that makes complex DeFi concepts feel accessible and exciting.

Goals

Educate new and existing users on how to use Flamingo’s DeFi tools (swap, stake, lend, orderbook trading)
Create high-impact promotional videos for trading competitions, new token listings, and ecosystem announcements
Leverage on-chain data and APIs to automatically generate up-to-date visual content

Problem

DeFi platforms are powerful but intimidating — most users don’t understand staking, decentralized lending, or on-chain orderbooks. Flamingo needed consistent, high-quality content that both explains the platform step-by-step and builds hype around competitions and new features, without relying on boring, static documentation.

Responsibilities

Designing and animating 3D abstract promos for campaigns and announcements
Building Python-powered, data-driven video templates that pull live or recent on-chain stats from Flamingo
Recording on-camera content with custom lighting, framing, and performance tailored to Web3 audiences
Editing full promos, shorts, and tutorials with motion graphics, kinetic text, and VFX in After Effects
Creating step-by-step platform tutorials for swaps, staking, decentralized lending, and orderbook trading
Producing content for cross-platform distribution (X, Discord, YouTube, and internal community channels)
Collaborating with the Flamingo team to align content with roadmap, events, and token launches

DeFi Tutorials that Actually Make Sense

Most DeFi content is either too shallow or overly technical. I produce clear, structured tutorials that walk users through Flamingo’s core features — swapping, staking, decentralized lending, and using the orderbook — using real UI captures, overlays, and scripted voiceover. The goal is to make DeFi feel learnable in minutes, not hours.

For major announcements, competitions, and token launches, I create high-energy 3D promotional videos in Cinema 4D — abstract simulations, neon shapes, glassy particles, and motion that feels uniquely Web3. These animations become the visual backbone of Flamingo campaigns, giving the brand a premium, cinematic edge.

Using Python and Flamingo’s APIs, I build workflows where videos are generated based on the latest on-chain metrics — trading volume, APRs, token performance, or competition stats. This lets the team quickly output updated visuals without manually rebuilding every video, keeping content fresh and data-driven.

Monthly AMA Multiformat Editing

Every month, Flamingo hosts hour-long AMA sessions on X (Twitter) with the core team. I post-produce the entire session by creating a full-length visual using Unreal Engine, designed to keep viewers visually engaged while hearing the discussion. Each speaker has their own personalized on-screen card with a reactive ring animation that lights up whenever they speak — giving viewers a clear sense of who's talking. I use audio waveform analysis and manual alignment in Premiere Pro to time visuals precisely. In addition to the full-hour render, I create short-form vertical and square clips optimized for YouTube Shorts and X, emphasizing highlights and key announcements.

Beyond screen recordings and abstract visuals, I regularly film myself on camera to bring a human face to Flamingo. I handle everything — scripting, memorization, camera operation, lighting setup, audio, and delivery — then edit the footage into tight, high-retention shorts and explainers optimized for platforms like X and YouTube.

Cross-Platform Distribution & Formats

Content is planned with distribution in mind: horizontal breakdowns for YouTube or long-form, vertical cuts for X and shorts, and clipped segments for Discord announcements. I design compositions, typography, and pacing so they still hit hard even when repurposed into different aspect ratios and runtimes.
